5 tips on using your professional acrylic paint set

Tip#1: In order to keep your acrylic paints from drying up try to only squeeze a little from the tube at a time. You can also mix water with the paint from your new
acrylic paint set. This could even be added to an airbrush gun and used as airbrush paint.

Tip#2: To make things a lot easier keep a cloth close at hand to blot your acrylic paint brushes on, we don't want paint drying on your brushes.

Tip#3: Remember Acrylic paint can be applied as an opaque or transparent medium. You can add a little white to your acrylics and create some very nice opaque colors.

Tip#4: Another problem i see is people over glazing, go easy on the acrylic paint glazes. A thin glaze is best you can always add another thin layer if needed.

Tip#5: Use masking tape to define some really nice edges within your art. You will be amazing people with your new acrylic paint set ion no time.

Should I use acrylic gloss paint or put on my glass on it in a frame?

I have an acrylic painting textures that I'm working on ... It has lots of sand, glitter, sparkles and stuff ... The edges are matte because it used an airbrush around the edge ... the center is still shiny. I want to match the entire painting without losing the difference in texture. Is this a job for an enamel or glass? oops - meant losing not "lose" ...

Answer:

I much use of textures in my paintings, sand, plaster and gels to create amazing textures. Some of the areas not are built. I always finish a painting with acrylic gloss medium Liquetex (minimum two layers) here's the catch: do not go back and fourth with the brush as it will make things glarey. First put the flat paint. Follow and imitate the brushstrokes and the use of the same size brush as you used on the paint .. Arriving to the texture to be careful not to let swimming or running. If ever you are unsure of an outcome with any varnish, make 3. small sample of paint with some cards textures, glitter and paint the flat surface, and only the varnish to see how it looks. Put one behind glass and the third was to use an acrylic spray varnish (this is a ready to use spray in the art store) and see what I liked.

I have an acrylic paint and brush set .... How do I use?

My brother thought he needed a hobby, so I bought a paint brush n whole, and some cloth strips, I tried to use acrylic paint on canvas, but painting is too thick (it's like a bunch of little tubes of paint) and is difficult to achieve in the brush, and even harder on the canvas. so the question is, is supposed to I thin the paint, I guess I'm not using acrylic fabric? HELP!

You Pour the paint into something and then dip brush and paint it. Then you wash your brushes with warm water. and let dry.
